Foundations in tech, built for Africans
living abroad.
MGP Projects is running a completely free training program for African professionals in the diaspora who want a practical, structured way into software development or Microsoft 365 & Exchange administration — no tuition, no prior experience required.
Many Africans in the diaspora are working in fields unrelated to their long-term goals, and tech remains one of the clearest paths to better pay, remote flexibility, and mobility. But quality training is expensive, and self-teaching without structure is slow.

Yes. There’s no tuition or hidden fee for accepted participants. The program is funded by MGP Projects LLC as a community initiative.
Can I apply if I live outside the US, UK, Canada or Germany?
Not for this cohort. We’re starting with these four countries and plan to expand to more diaspora locations in future rounds — join the waitlist to be notified.
Can I apply for both tracks?
We ask applicants to choose one track per cohort so we can keep class sizes small and give everyone proper attention.
What happens after I complete the course
You’ll receive a certificate of completion and a portfolio project, plus access to MGP’s alumni community for referrals and continued learning.
Do I need to already work in tech or IT?
No. Both tracks are built as foundations courses for people making a career change into tech, so no prior experience is required.
Seats for this cohort are limited.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis — apply early to secure your place.
